UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. UnityPoint Health – Trinity is a regional integrated health care delivery system including four full-service hospitals in Rock Island and Moline, Illinois and Bettendorf and Muscatine, Iowa. The integrated services available at Trinity Muscatine offer a seamless continuum of care between physician clinics, hospital and home care services. The hospital campus is home to emergency, orthopedic services, physician clinics, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic care and treatment, home health, public health and occupational medicine.

In addition, it is home to Robert Young Center, the region’s only Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic. The Center provides a full continuum of behavioral health services including inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use disorder services.

• Attractive 7 on and 7 off schedule option.
• Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available

We offer

• Initial 2-year salary guarantee of approximately $385,000 - $580,000 with the ability to exceed compensation and receive 100% of the upside on an innovative compensation program.
• Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on an individual’s qualifications.
