Job Responsibilities- In collaboration with the supervisor, lead employee onboarding, performance management, and development, ensuring alignment with Blue Stone Therapy’s purpose, core values, policies, and procedures.
- Assume daily staffing and utilization responsibilities, including scheduling, and may manage therapists across multiple communities.
- Oversee the clinical management of the rehabilitation department, including case management, care planning, appropriate therapy utilization, and patient identification.
- Provide direct patient care as needed and consistently meet productivity standards for the assigned discipline and location.
- Coordinate and participate in training programs for facility staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
- Ensure compliance with company and facility policies, procedures, and practices, reporting variances and communicating updates to staff.
- Promote new program development focused on functional outcomes to improve quality of life for patients served.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Minimum of one (1) year of hands‑on clinical experience in a therapy services role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
- Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care.
- Experience with Net Health preferred.
- Current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech‑Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant in the appropriate state.
