• Lead a department or major subdivision.
• Instruct and ensure supervisors' instructions are carried out.
• Coordinate activities, check work and report necessary information.
• Perform necessary annual duties to the full utilization of time.
• Direct a small crew, but classified as lead job when regular duties included.
• Receive a rate equal to or greater than the highest job grade under them.
• Always perform to the highest level of competence.
• Take risks and use initiative, adapt to change, make decisions.

• Must be able to obtain a fork truck license and follow all procedures for fork truck safety and inspection.

• Requires leadership skills, with the ability to handle conflict.
• Monitor the Receiving department areas and communicate concerns and issues to the Supervisor on a daily basis.
