Job SummaryMulti‑Skilled Maintenance Tech I at Potters Industries
Base pay range: $29.00/hr - $29.00/hr
Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. every 3rd Saturday on call per production requirements.
Position Summary: Maintenance Technicians install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment and parts. This position requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. They must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient. The work can be physically demanding, requiring crawling, climbing, and standing for extended periods. They must also be able to operate tools in close proximity to mechanical and electrical components, interpret technical documents, work independently or as part of a team, and communicate effectively.

- Install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Work as a team member or alone to complete projects.
- On call to assist 24/7 operations to prevent unplanned downtime or reduce downtime when it occurs.
- Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes.
- Make decisions based on technical documents.
- Perform quality testing and inspections.
- Interpret and maintain consistent PM schedules.
- Develop and maintain relationships with outside contractors.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience;
Associate’s Degree in related fields is beneficial. - Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related hands‑on positions.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated self‑starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
- Willing to perform physically demanding tasks: lift heavy objects, climb ladders, crawl, etc.
