Maintenance Technician

Newbury Living is hiring a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our high-performing team, serving Forest Glen and Colorado Park apartments in Muscatine.

• Starting pay at $26.00/hour
• Quarterly performance bonuses

• Perform apartment turnovers and ensure units are move-in ready
• Handle maintenance repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance to keep everything running smoothly
• Complete property inspections and coordinate with vendors as needed
• Provide exceptional resident service and communication
• Participate in after-hours emergency response/coordination

• Experienced in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• A team player with great problem-solving abilities
• Communicates clearly and professionally – both written and verbal
• Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Has 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience (preferred)
• Holds a valid Iowa driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
