Aquatic Center Manager
City of Muscatine is seeking Aquatic Center managers for the 2025 summer season. This is a full-time seasonal position from May until early September.
Duties- Oversee the operations of the Muscatine Aquatic Center alongside the Program Supervisor.
- Perform water chemistry tests with various chemicals.
- Conduct swim tests for patrons who wish to use the slides/diving board.
- Schedule Aquatic Center staff in a safe manner.
- Clean stations after shift or at end of day.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Lifeguard, CPR/AED Certification is required.
- Knowledge of swimming is required.
- Ability to manage seasonal staff appropriately and safely.
- Ability to handle money and assist cashiers when needed.
- Ability to arrive ahead of time or stay late as staffing requirements need.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service.
Hourly rate is $25.00/hr
