Salary: $110,345
The ideal candidate will have GE Nuclear RFPT, Steam Valve and Centerline turbine experience or Siemens 501F Gas turbine Centerline experience. This position will require extensive travel to various sites within the TN Valley.
Duties- Performs inspections, overhauls, major maintenance, preventive and corrective maintenance for combustion turbines.
- Assist in preparation/review of written maintenance/repair/outage work package instructions & performs work with tools as an integral part of classification responsibilities.
- Plans work to identify tool, equipment, material & procedural requirements to ensure work is conducted in a quality, safe manner with an environmental awareness.
- Performs analyses to identify potential failure modes, identifies & validates root causes & implements solutions.
- Works on shift with operations during peaking season.
- Travel to different CT sites will be required.
Employee should have at least a high school education or equivalent and 4 year apprenticeship or equivalent.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic maintenance and operating principles, practices and procedures for power plant mechanical and electrical equipment with desired experience related to combustion turbine operations, maintenance and overhaul experience desired with the following type of inspections; bore scope, combustion, hot gas path, major and generator on GE 5001N, GE70015, GE7501EA, W501B4 combustion turbines
Supervision ReceivedWill be under the direct supervision of the Combustion Turbine Foreman, who assigns and checks work during progress and checks completed work for proper performance, and under the general supervision of the Combustion Turbine Site Manager and the Combustion Turbine Plant Manager.
Supervision Over OthersMay supervise the work of one or two machinist helpers and occasionally one or more laborers, depending upon the requirements of each particular job.
