Production Supervisor

PROJECTXYZ is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of the departmental processes and personnel within the assigned manufacturing function.

• Supervises the process and all employees in the department.
• Schedules workload for all employees in the department.
• Manage employee timecards and operational policies.
• Ensures manufacturing process in the department meets all production and quality requirements.
• Performs recordkeeping for various aspects of the manufacturing process, as required.
• Addresses all production emergencies and any requests from other department supervisors in a responsible and professional manner.
• Monitors safety within the department on a continual basis and holds weekly safety meetings with employees.
• Ensure that the team’s work gets done on time, effectively, and in accordance with quality requirements.
• Capable of managing the members to implement the containment actions for the supplier defects at the production line.
• Professionally adheres to company rules and policies.
• Performs all other duties necessary to ensure business success.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to delegate.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires flexibility with shift work.
