- Meet and exceed sales targets; monitor personal sales data and reports.
- Target businesses in the assigned area, visit established Lamar clients and competitors’ clients.
- Gain working knowledge of local and national competition; cluster accounts to work efficiently.
- Identify potential growth areas, open new accounts, and use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects.
- Prepare proposals, written presentations, and research.
- Develop presentation skills; present to clients on a regular basis.
- Participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
- Perform administrative duties, including maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans; follow up on client production orders; keep organized client records.
- Spend a minimum of two days a week in the office for meetings and other events.
- Comfort making cold calls over the phone and in‑person.
- Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures.

- Current and valid driver’s license required.
- College degree preferred.
- Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Combination of office and field work, light lifting, seeing, standing, talking, turning, walking.
- Sitting less than 50% of the time.
- Nighttime travel less than 10%.
