Practice Manager of Operations
Forward Dental - Muskego (Heartland Dental)

Join our team at Forward Dental - Muskego, a valued practice partner. As Practice Manager of Operations you will support the clinical and business needs of our dental office, fostering teamwork, learning and patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize and complete all PMO training to build technical, commitment and leadership skills.
  • Develop and pursue annual top 10 business goals and 16 personal development goals (5 technical, 5 commitment, 6 personality).
  • Ensure the goals and priorities of doctors and teams are achieved through servant leadership.
  • Complete Bell Leadership Training every 18‑24 months.
  • Support the Doctor‑Led, Hygiene‑Driven, Operations focus philosophy through synergy meetings monthly, team meetings weekly, and strong morning huddles.
  • Focus and prioritize team efforts to support doctors achieving their Top 10 Professional goals.
  • Create alignment with doctors through daily one‑on‑ones, morning huddles and weekly touchpoints discussing needed communication, connection and support.
  • Serve as a business partner for doctors, collaborating on quarterly and annual financial goals.
  • Assist doctors in prioritizing, planning and blocking schedule for CE through Doctor Education and Leadership programs.
  • Understand benefits and metrics of DMP and help doctors monitor progress.
  • Identify and support future team growth by selecting candidates (BA, DA, Hygienists) that match 80 % for the position and practice.
  • Partner with doctors to identify needed skills for open positions and build a proper selection team.
  • Onboard new team members in partnership with recruiting and support office.
  • Support team training planning through Core Essentials and beyond for growth.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years of leadership experience in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, etc.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.
  • Ability to analyze processes, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, coaching and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Trustworthy; maintain patient confidentiality and uphold team ethics.
Preferred Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical setting.
  • 1+ years of experience with insurance billing and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental software.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (and in‑person sessions when permitted) throughout the year, with some travel required.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) test required for all new hires in dental office positions, as per standard industry requirement (not applicable in FL & TN).
