Responsibilities:

• Set up and troubleshoot CNC Gear Hobbing machines, Shapers, Gear Grinders, and Broaches, ensuring precision machining of splines and gear teeth on metal blanks according to stringent specifications.
• Operate machinery as needed, contributing to the high-performance culture at Northern Gear.

Requirements:

• A strong knowledge of gear hobbing procedures, including program proofing and edits, quality standards, and measurement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
• Proficiency in using software and tools for quality, production, and engineering data input.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for seamless teamwork.
• Physical stamina to perform essential functions, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 40 pounds, as well as bending, kneeling, and twisting for extended periods on cement surfaces.
