Advanced CNC Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Northern Gear & Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Operator/Machinist to work 2nd shift at our Muskego, WI facility. There is a $2 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift.

Base Pay Range: $16.00/hr – $24.00/hr (pay based on skills and experience).

Location: W160S6609 Commerce Dr., Muskego, WI 53150. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting.

• Operate Vertical and Horizontal CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Work with engineering and team members to meet production goals.
• Interpret blueprints or drawings with specifications.
• Use precision measuring devices and perform first‑piece inspections.
• Adhere to Quality Assurance requirements and ISO standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate in a cell structure, handling 2–3 machines at a time.
• Continuous improvement and zero defect mindset.

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (preferred but not required; training available).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.
