QA Technician – Night Shift

Join our dynamic team as a QA Technician on the night shift and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our food manufacturing processes. This position is integral to our expanding operations and offers the opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment that values innovation and growth.

• Review and approve records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify deviations, and initiate and coordinate completion of Non‑Conformance and Corrective Action (CAPA) investigations, including root cause analyses.
• Manage the disposition of raw materials and products as Hold/Release/Quarantine, and update the electronic WMS system accordingly.
• Conduct basic food safety, cGMP, and quality‑related training for new hires.
• Assist in the development of SOPs related to manufacturing processes and production personnel compliance training.
• Provide support during audits by regulatory and third parties.
• Conduct and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental testing as part of the Environmental Monitoring Program.
• Collect raw materials for testing and analyze samples of finished products to assess sensory attributes.
• Evaluate sensory characteristics for product approval and shelf life studies.
• Collaborate with production personnel to correct processes when products are out of compliance.
• Convey test results to the appropriate personnel and follow up as needed.
• Complete audits based on the production schedule.
• Conduct and coordinate facility environmental testing.
• Promote and adhere to GMPs within the facility.

• Experience with quality control and quality assurance in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, GFSI, and PCQI.
• Ability to conduct batch record reviews and ensure compliance with FDA standards.

• Over 2 years of experience in Food or GMP Manufacturing Quality.
• A degree in the sciences is preferred.
• Training or experience with SQF, HACCP, GFSI, or PCQI is a plus.

This role operates within a food manufacturing plant, with a balanced work environment of 50% laboratory and 50% floor. The position involves a comprehensive training period of 3‑6 months. The night shift operates from 10 pm to 6:30 am, catering to the growing demands of our expanding customer base.

Contract to Hire position based out of Muskego, WI.

Pay range: $22.00 – $27.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. The benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
