SAF-HOLLAND is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives that optimize cost, quality, and delivery across manufacturing locations. You will shape our global supply chain, lead high-impact projects, and foster strategic supplier partnerships.
Responsibilities- Craft Strategic Sourcing Plans
:
Develop and execute regional and global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, focusing on cost reduction through negotiation, process optimization, and low-cost country opportunities. - Drive Cost Efficiency
:
Lead BOM cost reduction initiatives and leverage aggregate demand to negotiate competitive, high-quality contracts. - Build Strong Relationships
:
Cultivate partnerships with strategic suppliers to ensure top-tier materials at optimal costs. - Lead & Collaborate
:
Represent Strategic Sourcing in cross-functional teams, guide product launches, and mentor emerging talent. - Analyze & Innovate
:
Conduct financial and commodity analysis to inform sourcing decisions and achieve measurable objectives.
- Education
:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field. - Experience
:
Minimum 8 years in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in strategic sourcing or procurement. - Strategic thinking with a proven track record in sourcing, negotiation, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated success in cost reduction, commodity strategy development, and supplier management.
- Proficient in project management methodologies including root cause analysis and cross-functional facilitation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills to navigate complex financial and commodity data.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
