Overview

SAF-HOLLAND is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives that optimize cost, quality, and delivery across manufacturing locations. You will shape our global supply chain, lead high-impact projects, and foster strategic supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Craft Strategic Sourcing Plans
    :
    Develop and execute regional and global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, focusing on cost reduction through negotiation, process optimization, and low-cost country opportunities.
  • Drive Cost Efficiency
    :
    Lead BOM cost reduction initiatives and leverage aggregate demand to negotiate competitive, high-quality contracts.
  • Build Strong Relationships
    :
    Cultivate partnerships with strategic suppliers to ensure top-tier materials at optimal costs.
  • Lead & Collaborate
    :
    Represent Strategic Sourcing in cross-functional teams, guide product launches, and mentor emerging talent.
  • Analyze & Innovate
    :
    Conduct financial and commodity analysis to inform sourcing decisions and achieve measurable objectives.
Qualifications
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience
    :
    Minimum 8 years in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in strategic sourcing or procurement.
  • Strategic thinking with a proven track record in sourcing, negotiation, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated success in cost reduction, commodity strategy development, and supplier management.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies including root cause analysis and cross-functional facilitation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to navigate complex financial and commodity data.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience in cross-functional teams.
