Sr DeltaV Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a tech-savvy and results-driven professional for one of our leading clients. This onsite, long-term contract role in Muskegon, MI supports commissioning efforts for a Delta

V system and mentoring Junior/Intermediate Engineers. There is room for continued site support post-commissioning.

Location:

• Responsible for Software Development in Delta
  
  V platform
• Conduct and oversee Factory Acceptance Testing FAT, Site Acceptance Testing SAT, and commissioning and qualification activities for Delta
  
  V software and equipment
• Support commissioning and qualification activities at client site
• Assist in planning, organizing, monitoring, and oversight of all phases of test automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate requirements gathering for commissioning and qualification activities
• Develop familiarity with the client’s manufacturing Delta
  
  V system standards
• Participate in design and code reviews from functional teams

• Process Automation project experience with the Delta
  
  V platform
• Experience in a manufacturing setting for Life Science industry
• Understanding of Process Automation implementation in a Pharma/Biotech environment
• Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP
• Demonstrated skill with scripting and test automation
• Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies

• Bachelor’s or Graduate’s Degree in engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, SQL software and systems is desirable
• Over 6 years relevant Delta
  
  V experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
