Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new products, components, and systems based on project requirements.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for manufacturing processes.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize designs.
- Conduct engineering analysis and calculations to validate design performance and integrity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless product realization.
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities, incorporating feedback into design iterations.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including Bills of Material (BOMs) and specifications.
- Investigate and resolve design-related issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor, CATIA) for part and assembly design.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, welding, sheet metal) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
- Experience with material selection, stress analysis, and product validation methods.
- Ability to create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material (BOMs) to industry standards.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Hands-on prototyping, fabrication, or assembly experience.
- Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, welding, CNC machining).
- Proficiency in advanced simulation tools (e.g., CFD, Topology Optimization).
