The EHS Intern position will be tasked with supporting projects involving regulatory compliance, safety assessments, and maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. This position offers hands-on experience providing EHS support to manufacturing operations.
Essential Functions- Provide support for the EHS team to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Review and update EHS policies, procedures, and forms.
- Help develop safety procedures, checklists, forms, and training materials.
- Assist with plant safety programs, root cause investigations, hazard identification, and safety audits
- Assist with environmental waste tracking and reporting.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field at an accredited university
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Junior or Senior level
- Safety or environmental programs (actual or classroom)
- Manufacturing, industrial, or technical programs (actual or classroom
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field at an accredited university
