Muskegon County in Michigan seeks Sheriff Deputy Recruit to join a training level position with the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office. Recruits attend an approved MCOLES basic police academy; during training they do not have police powers and remain under office and academy rules.
Upon successful completion of the academy and meeting minimum entrance qualifications, incumbents may be promoted to Deputy Sheriff, beginning a new one-year probationary period at sworn status.
