Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift; 12‑hour shifts; 36 hours one week, 48 hours the following week;
Every Other Weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Render basic life support procedures to patients in a variety of settings consistent with state and local operating protocols.
• Provide accurate oral and written reports to designated medical personnel.
• Operate Pro‑Med vehicles safely and professionally, attending to patients during transport.
• Communicate with Dispatch via radio or telephone.
• Complete all reports legibly, accurately, and on a timely basis.
• Check operating supplies and vehicle upon each shift change using Pro‑Med’s shift checklist.
• Inspect vehicle to ensure readiness for service (e.g., brakes, lights, fluids).
• Perform all duties in a safe, courteous, confidential, and professional manner, always prioritizing patient well‑being.
• Conduct medical examinations and screening of patients consistent with Medical Control Authority protocols.
• Use safety and PPE equipment as required by law and company policies.
• Maintain vehicles and quarters pursuant to Pro‑Med policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current EMT Basic license from the State of Michigan.
• Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license with a continued safe driving history.
