Pharmacy Technician Level II – Saint Joseph Mercy Health System
Full-time position. Rotating shift: 5:30 am–2:00 pm and 2:00 pm–10:30 pm.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of a Registered Pharmacist, assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Provides courteous, cooperative, and timely service to patients, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications- Minimum high‑school education or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program (preferred).
- Fully licensed as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum one year of pharmacy work experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong math skills (multiplication, division, addition, subtraction) with fractions, decimals, percentages and volumes calculations.
