• Shift: Rotating 12‑hour shifts
• Schedule:
  
  36 hours one week, 48 hours the following, with every other weekend
• Full‑time duty: 48‑hour work week spaced over two weeks

• Render basic life support procedures to patients in a variety of settings consistent with state and local operating protocols.
• Provide accurate oral reports to designated medical personnel.
• Operate Pro‑Med vehicles safely and professionally, attending to patient needs.
• Communicate with dispatch via radio or telephone.
• Complete all reports legibly, accurately, and on a timely basis.
• At each shift change, check operating supplies and vehicle using Pro‑Med’s shift checklist.
• Inspect vehicle to ensure readiness for service (e.g., brakes, lights, fluids).
• Perform all duties in a safe, courteous, confidential, and professional manner, always safeguarding patient well‑being.
• Provide medical examination and screening of patients consistent with Medical Control Authority protocols.
• Use safety and PPE equipment as required by law and company policies.
• Maintain vehicles and quarters pursuant to Pro‑Med policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Current EMT Basic license from the State of Michigan.
• Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license with a safe driving history.
