Position: Occupational Therapist Full Time Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital

Occupational Therapist – Full Time – Trinity Health Muskegon Hospital

Saint Joseph Mercy Health System is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for its Muskegon Hospital. This full‑time, day‑shift position offers a competitive salary range of $51,814.00 – $75,437.00.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist will independently assess patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and collaborate with occupational therapists assistants and interdisciplinary teams. The role requires maintaining national certification, state licensure (Michigan), and ongoing continuing education. The therapist must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and may be required to travel.

Full time – Day Shift.

Schedule Expectation

Monday–Thursday: 9:30 am – 6:00 pm
Friday: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Weekend: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Education & Licensure
  • Graduate of a Master's or equivalent program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Occupational Therapy (Required).
  • Master’s Degree (M.S.) in Occupational Therapy (Preferred).
Certification and Licensure
  • State of Michigan Occupational Therapist License, or eligibility to obtain prior to hire.
Required Experience
  • Professional experience: 1 year preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS or equivalent.
Other Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficient use of EMR standards.
  • Team‑oriented, excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for professional image.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective problem‑solving based on established policies.
