* What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will do
* * Greet patients and explain procedures.

* Answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures.

* Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures.

* Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique.

* Assist physicians during specialized procedures.

* Evaluate Images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading.

* Complete Health Streams by assigned due date.

* Obtain and maintain competency in accessing and documenting patient information in the automated patient medical record.

* Charge entry and selection of correct charges for services provided. Assures that the charges entered are consistent with services provided and supported by appropriate documentation.

* Utilizes Cerner (Power chart and Rad Net) computer programs and reviews and print results from Power Chart.

* What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will need:
* * Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
