Performs tasks to decontaminate, prepare and package medical–surgical supplies; unloads, sorts, and picks up linen from semi‑trailer and delivers to departments. Completes sterilization procedures, monitors processed storage, and distributes medical–surgical supplies to various areas.

Employment Type – Full time
Shift – Evening Shift (variable hours, 40 hrs per week, 3 p.m.–11:30 p.m. with weekends and holidays on call per CBA).

• Minimum:
  High School diploma or equivalent
• Required:
  
  Graduate from a sterile processing program
• Preferred: BLS certified

• Minimum: 1 year of experience in Sterile Processing department
• One year of general work experience
• Required:
  
  Certification in Central Sterile Processing
• Membership in Central Sterile Processing Professional Organization
• Preferred:
  Specialized certification such as CIS or CER
