Position summaryThe General Manager of Muskegon Operations will lead and oversee all manufacturing activities at the Muskegon facility, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with corporate goals. This role is responsible for driving productivity, quality, and safety standards while managing budgets and resources effectively. The General Manager will cultivate a high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse team of professionals across multiple departments.
They will collaborate closely with supply chain, engineering, and sales teams to optimize processes and meet customer demands. Ultimately, this position ensures the Muskegon operations deliver consistent, high-quality products on time and within budget, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial management to ensure operational goals are met within allocated resources.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as supply chain, engineering, and sales to align production schedules and meet customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support operational needs and cost objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 at the site leadership level or higher.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing facilities with a focus on operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross‑functional collaboration.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
