Wild Bill's Tobacco is seeking a full-time Retail Store Manager to oversee operations, manage staff, inventory, finances, and provide excellent customer service across one of our retail locations.
Responsibilities- Recruit, interview, select and retain top talent.
- Motivate, coach, develop and train store employees on an ongoing basis.
- Create opportunities for the team to develop product knowledge and become experts.
- Develop team selling skills to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Manage and supervise a team of retail employees, including scheduling and performance management.
- Promote company policies and procedures and ensure all employees comply.
- Guide the team to identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity.
- Set clear performance expectations and ensure store teams are trained in sales, customer service, and operations to meet company standards.
- Communicate priorities and sales-driving information effectively so employees can maximize business opportunities.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure the store is properly stocked, manage inventory levels and product ordering.
- Obtain product knowledge about all products and be aware of current launches and promotions.
- Create relationships with customers to suggest products.
- Meet or exceed store sales and operational goals.
- Manage all store operations daily, including inventory, cash handling, staffing, customer service, reconciliation, and bank deposits.
- Assist customers with sales transactions and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop plans and follow up to maximize sales and drive consistent performance results.
- Identify performance opportunities and partner with the District Manager to address issues effectively.
- Stay informed on corporate communications, directives, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Implement store programs to increase efficiencies in sales, service, operations, and branding.
- Spend majority of business hours on the sales floor greeting customers, coaching employees, and running the business.
- Monitor and analyze sales and financial data to make strategic business decisions.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase store traffic and sales.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competition and recommend improvements to District Management.
- Open and close the store.
- Work over 40 hours a week and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of prior managerial experience
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Flexible to work 12‑hour shifts at times

- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
