Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Overview

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentoring new technicians; communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; demonstrates knowledge of point of sale systems and selling techniques.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety, alerts, product information, and training.
• Be an Owner:
  Communicates equipment, tools, and supplies needs; lead tracking and monitoring of returns and special orders; operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, audit safety and compliance standards; report complaints, safety hazards, and problems; complete paperwork and documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per policies.

  Act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service and products, develop and inspire others, and foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment; assist in training team members.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  Valid state-issued driver's license; 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Auto service industry experience or retail experience.
