Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $14.00/hr

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.

Pay rate: $14.00 an hour.

• Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Have the desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
• Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate through company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.

This role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week; however, the company may change the role based on business or client needs.

  High school diploma or GED; or one to three months' related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Proficient in using personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Regularly stand and walk during shifts; use hands and fingers; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk, hear, and read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart; operate cooking appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
• Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
• Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming; meet retailer dress code requirements.
