Sales Intern

Nugent Sand Company is looking for an ambitious, persuasive, hardworking Sales Intern who wants more than something to put on a résumé. This is an opportunity to get inside a real business, learn the industry from the ground up, work directly with customers, network at industry events, and build the foundation for a long-term career in sales.

You'll get hands-on experience across sales, customer relationships, logistics, pricing, and business development while learning how our business operates.

• Research prospects, markets, logistics, customers, and opportunities.
• Reach out to customers and prospects and help build relationships.
• Support proposals, pricing, and sales presentations.
• Maintain and update CRM information and sales activity.
• Follow up on opportunities and help move them forward.
• Participate and network in customer visits, meetings, and industry events.
• Work with our sales and logistics teams to understand how we deliver for our customers.
• Learn the business from the inside out, from the product and supply chain to the customer and the sale.
• Take on projects that require you to figure things out, solve problems, and get results.
