14001 work instructions and trainingRead and follow all job-related work instructionsObserve & follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employeesRepair/rebuild electric motors (except rewinding stators and armatures)Troubleshoot/repair induction furnaces, mold unit, hydraulic systemsRepair of Electric Overhead cranes and Hoists (Electrical and Mechanical, except welding)Repair of Low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 voltsAbility to read electrical schematics and diagramsMust be able to make conduit runs and layout electrical cabinetsWhat you will need to succeed:
High School Diploma or GED requiredMaster Electrician Certification or associate’s degree in electrical or electronics or Industrial Electricity Certificate or Equivalent requiredCandidate must have a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in trade or Master Electrician LicenseExperience with low voltage & voltage controls up to 480 voltsUnderstand PLC controlsKnowledge of Electronic Instrumentation (E.G. Temperature Controllers, Chart Recorders, I/P and P/I Converters, Variable Frequency Drives, Etc.)Demonstration of competency with various electrical testing proceduresExperience with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx), PLC-5 and SLC
500 hardwareMust have basic computer skills for work order entry and completionMust be able to obtain a forklift, articulating boom lift and scissor lift licenses from company licensing programProvide own tools (personal hand tools)Lead projects and define appropriate work scope for improvements/repairsTrain/Mentor other electricians and apprenticesEEO Statement
