Stewart Engineering & Sales Co. is seeking a motivated and skilled Overhead Crane Service Technician to join our expanding service department. We specialize in inspection, repair, and modernization of overhead cranes and hoists throughout the United States.

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists
• Replace or repair motors, brakes, controls, wire rope, and other lifting components
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in the field
• Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings with customers
• Travel to customer sites — primarily throughout Michigan, with occasional travel across the U.S.

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to read schematics and utilize diagnostic tools
• Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must provide personal hand tools (specialized equipment provided as needed)
• Experience in crane or industrial maintenance preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
