Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems on various production equipment, including but not limited to, induction heating units, automated assembly lines, material handling systems, and finishing equipment.
• Execute repairs and rebuilds of electric motors, ensuring optimal performance.
• Work competently with low voltage and high voltage controls up to 480 volts.
• Lay out and install new conduit runs and design electrical cabinet layouts when required.
• Utilize Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx) for PLC troubleshooting and programming adjustments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical components to extend equipment lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using a computerized maintenance management system.
• Champion workplace safety by strictly adhering to all company policies, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician certification or a minimum of six years of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair low voltage and up to 480-volt electrical systems.
• Fundamental understanding and practical experience with PLC controls.
• Basic computer proficiency for work order entry and documentation.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software platforms (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, RS Linx).
• Experience with various electronic instrumentation such as Temperature Controllers, I/P and P/I Converters, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Prior experience in a heavy manufacturing or similar challenging industrial environment.
• A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
