Inventory Control Specialist; GFS

• Execute scheduled and ad‑hoc cycle counts, pick‑path verifications, and bin audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and lost/found bin issues
• Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive process improvements
• Mentor team members on WMS best practices and inventory controls
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment using WMS/inventory‑management systems
• Proficient in operating material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to sort numerical data and recognize trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred

• Experience with Lean initiatives or Kaizen events
• Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, Six Sigma)
• Previous leadership or coaching experience in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with advanced data analysis tools or software
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality benchmarks
