Pavement Marking Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pavement Marking Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential part of a crew responsible for applying, removing, or maintaining various types of pavement markings on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. Your work will directly contribute to road safety and efficient traffic management.

• Installation and Maintenance:
  Assist in the application of pavement markings including lines, symbols, and other traffic control markings using specialized equipment and materials.
• Surface Preparation:
  Prepare road and parking lot surfaces for markings by cleaning and ensuring they are free of debris and obstructions.
• Equipment Operation:
  Operate and maintain pavement marking equipment safely and efficiently. This includes driving trucks and operating line striping machines.
• Safety Compliance:
  Follow safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for you and your team, as well as the traveling public.
• Quality Assurance:
  Monitor marking quality to ensure compliance with state and federal standards and make necessary adjustments as needed.

  Work collectively with your crew to ensure projects are completed according to schedule while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

• Previous experience in a similar role or in a construction environment is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate light equipment and drive work vehicles.
  MUST BE 21+
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various outdoor weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK/MVR AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENINGS.
• POSITION REQUIRES FREQUENT OVERNGIHT TRAVEL
