Esports Arena Support Personnel

. This is a part‑time position in the City of Muskogee, Parks and Recreation Department. Applicants must be available for daytime, nighttime, weekend, holiday, and irregular shifts.
To work as support personnel in Muskogee Esports Arena. This position requires availability for day, night, weekend, some holiday shifts, and irregular hours.
Essential Tasks- Greet visitors and communicate with the public in a polite, friendly manner.
- Operate the telephone to answer, screen, and forward calls and provide information as necessary.
- Conduct tours of the facility.
- Assist with facility programs and rentals.
- Operate the Point of Sales (POS) operating system.
- Prepare daily deposits for supervisor review.
- Assist with maintaining a clean facility.
- Complete opening and closing tasks including cleaning restrooms and picking up trash.
- Assist with facility rental set‑up/clean‑up.
- Maintain and care for gaming PCs, furniture, and arcade cabinets.
- Assist guests with admission charges and facility related questions.
- Perform other work as necessary or assigned.
- Report to work on a regular and timely basis.
Esports Arena Support Personnel reports directly to the Esports Arena Coordinator and the Esports Arena Assistant Coordinator. The position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Prior experience operating a POS system and cash handling skills.
- Positive, friendly communication style.
Employees are frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is required to use hands and fingers, handle, feel, or operate objects and concession equipment, minor tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift, pull, push, and/or move heavy items and equipment. Vision, speech, hearing, and feeling sufficient to perform essential tasks.
Punctuality and reasonable attendance are essential. Must submit to drug screening and a fitness‑to‑work physical exam.
Indoor work; may travel to other city locations as required. Requires ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours.
