Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) at Triad Complete Healthcare in Muskogee, OK. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, conducting physical examinations, interpreting medical histories, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential for comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations, including updating and studying medical histories
- Document patient care services in records
- Provide outpatient services by appointment
- Offer health maintenance, education, and disease prevention screenings for adults
- Perform well-women gynecological exams, screenings, and education
- Educate patients on disease processes and healthy habits
- Stay current on immunization schedules, adult health maintenance, and clinic protocols
- Order and evaluate lab and x-ray studies
- Complete Continuing Medical Education and maintain licensure
- Maintain prescriptive authority license, OBNDD, and DEA number
- Prescribe medications within formulary limits
- Participate in community health screening and disease prevention activities
- Report difficult cases or poor outcomes to the Medical Director
- Interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
