Description:
The Registered Nurse I assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care according to hospital standards and unit policies. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and documenting care accurately. The RN demonstrates sound bio-psychosocial knowledge, delegates appropriately, and collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on supporting patient education, discharge planning, and clinical documentation. - Required Qualifications:
Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; 1 year of clinical experience; completion of basic professional curriculum of an approved nursing school; working knowledge of disease management, bio-psychosocial models, and clinical pathways; effective interpersonal and communication skills; ability to organize and prioritize tasks. - Schedule:
Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. - Additional Information:
The RN may need to float to other departments as required, with willingness to adapt to departmental needs.
