Industry & Sector:  Healthcare — Clinical acute care and perioperative services within a multi‑specialty hospital setting providing surgical, obstetric and critical care support in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

Position:  Consultant Anaesthesiologist (primary standardized title) — On‑site role based in Muzaffarnagar, UP. Seeking a clinically strong consultant to lead anaesthesia care across operating theatres, labour suites and perioperative intensive care.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide safe, evidence-based anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgeries across adult, obstetric and paediatric populations.
Perform regional and neuraxial techniques, ultrasound‑guided nerve blocks and advanced airway procedures as needed.
Manage intraoperative haemodynamics, ventilator settings and perioperative analgesia; escalate and triage critical events to ICU teams.
Lead pre‑anaesthesia assessment clinics, optimize high‑risk patients and communicate perioperative plans with surgical teams and families.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, participate in morbidity & mortality reviews and implement quality/safety protocols in the OT and PACU.
Train and mentor junior doctors, nursing staff and anaesthesia technicians; contribute to duty rosters and on‑call coverage.

Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

MBBS with MD/DNB/DA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Anaesthesiology.
Valid registration with the State Medical Council/National Medical Commission (NMC) and eligible to practise in India.
Proven experience delivering general, regional, obstetric and paediatric anaesthesia in a busy hospital setting.
Competence in airway management, ventilator management and emergency resuscitation protocols (ACLS).
Strong perioperative assessment skills and familiarity with ICU care for post‑operative patients.
Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Muzaffarnagar with shift and emergency on‑call responsibilities.

Preferred

Experience with ultrasound‑guided regional anaesthesia and teaching/mentoring junior staff.
Previous work in multi‑specialty hospitals or tertiary care centres handling high surgical volumes.
Certification or instructor experience in advanced life support or trauma anaesthesia.
