Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance

We are looking for a Home-Owner Association Staff Accountant to oversee association financials. The role includes monitoring general accounting practices and maintaining internal accounting controls.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the association accounting
• Oversee accounting procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and FDIC limits
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Review and oversee external and internal audits
• Perform general ledger analysis
• Conduct month‑end and year‑end close reconciliations and processes
• Prepare financials for Association Board of Directors
• Interact with Association Managers
• Review association budgets

• Proven working experience with financials
• Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• An analytical mind with problem‑solving aptitude
• At least five (5) years of experience in accounting
• Fund‑based accounting experience is a plus but not required
• Accounting degree preferred, not required
• Must pass background check and drug screen

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, crawl, talk, hear, push, pull, grasp, use hands and fingers, have clear vision and lift up to 15 pounds.
