Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support day-to-day billing and receivables activities for an on-site team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing invoicing and follow-up collections in a fast-paced environment. The position focuses primarily on billing while also assisting with group account collections and maintaining accurate payment records.

Candidates with prior hospitality experience will be especially well suited for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule, with a strong emphasis on daily billing activities.

- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with group accounts to encourage timely payment.

- Apply incoming payments and keep receivable records current and well organized.

- Use OnQ to complete billing-related tasks and support account documentation.

- Coordinate with internal teams to research discrepancies, resolve payment questions, and clear account issues.

- Maintain accurate account notes, collection updates, and supporting records for receivables activity.

- Assist with cash collection efforts and contribute to consistent follow-through on overdue accounts.

- Work on site Monday through Friday and support the accounting team with routine accounts receivable operations. Requirements - Experience in accounts receivable, with practical knowledge of billing and payment follow-up.

- Ability to manage collections professionally, including communication with commercial or group accounts.

- Familiarity with cash application processes and maintaining accurate payment records.

- Hands-on experience using OnQ for billing activities.

- Exposure to Acumatica is preferred, even if general ledger responsibilities are not part of this position.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions accurately.

- Hospitality industry experience is a strong advantage.

- Availability to work on site in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Monday through Friday.
