Creative Beginnings CDC is a multi site child development center established in 2003. Jobposition description
- Monday - Friday no nights or weekends.
- Work Schedule will be 8:30 am to 5:30 pm each day.
Creative Beginnings is seeking a FT Floater/After school teacher that is exceptional, dedicated, and fun. Someone who embodies our core values of Teamwork, Compassion, Loyalty, family and Creativity!
As a FT Floater/
After school teacher you have the ability to work in all classrooms of our center therefore, flexibility is a must. Adapt to different classroom settings and age groups as needed. Provide support to lead teachers, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our children. Provide classroom coverage for teacher breaks, planning time, and absences.
Help with diaper changes, toileting, bathroom routines, handwashing and other hygiene‑related tasks. Engage with children in age‑appropriate learning and play experiences. Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Assist with meal/snack setup and clean‑up. Help with homework, tutoring, or enrichment activities. Follow daily cleaning checklists and uphold health and safety standards. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
Attend various staff development training and be a team player.
- Prior experience, at least 6 months, working with preschool‑aged children (ages 6 wks‑12yrs old) in a classroom or after school setting.
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- NSC CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass background checks.
