Creative Beginnings CDC is a multi site child development center established in 2003. We are committed as a family and team to work together to provide an excellent high- quality educational environment where children feel safe, loved and eager to learn. We will provide them with the most excellent care possible and do our best to make their first step to education a positive one.
JobPosition Description
- Monday - Friday no nights or weekends.
- Work Schedule will be 8:30am to 5:30pm
Our Carolina Forest center is seeking a Full Time Floater that is exceptional, dedicated, and fun. Someone who embodies our core values of Teamwork, Compassion, Loyalty, Family and Creativity! You will provide support wherever needed—assisting teachers, engaging with children, and helping maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who loves variety and enjoys working with different age groups, from infants to preschoolers.
As a floater you have the ability to assist lead and assistant teachers in classrooms as needed. Follow daily schedules and routines set by classroom teachers. Supervise and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities. Support transitions, mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play. Be able to implement conscious discipline strategies. You must be able to communicate effectively with both parents and staff.
Uphold all state licensing and health/safety regulations. You will help maintain the center by keeping it clean, safe and inviting for our young learners. Attend various staff development training and be a team player.
- High School diploma or equivalent or higher
- A minimum 6 months working in a licensed child care center.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups
. - Have CPR/First Aid/AED by the NSC or willing to obtain
- Must pass a background check
, TB test
, medical assessment and meet all state childcare licensing requirements
