Creative Beginnings CDC is a multi site child development center established in 2003. Jobposition description
Our Carolina Forest center is seeking a Full time Infants (6 weeks to 6 months) that is exceptional, dedicated, and fun. Someone who embodies our core values of Teamwork, Compassion, Loyalty, family and Creativity!
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Full time Infant teacher (6 weeks to 6 months) collaborate with co‑teacher to create a calm, nurturing classroom atmosphere. You will provide responsive, individualized care, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and holding infants. Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds with frequent bending, kneeling, sitting on the floor, and carrying infants. Follow each child’s feeding and sleep schedule as provided by parents and program guidelines.
Monitor infants for signs of discomfort, illness, or developmental concerns and report promptly to administration. Follow safe sleep practices. Engage infants in age‑appropriate activities that encourage sensory exploration, early communication, bonding, and motor development. Support tummy time, grasping activities, visual tracking, and early social interaction. Observe and document developmental milestones and progress. Maintaining child‑to‑teacher ratio per licensing regulations. You must be able to strongly communicate effectively with both parents and staff.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment. Attend various staff development training and be a team player.
- Hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm
- High School diploma or equivalent or higher
- A minimum 6 months to 1 year working in a licensed child care center.
- Ability to meet all licensing requirements‑DSS background check, medical assessment etc.
- Be NSC First Aid/CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain)
