What You Will Do:As an entry‑level Construction Materials Professional, you are vital in guaranteeing the integrity and safety of construction endeavors by evaluating and confirming the characteristics and quality of materials used.
- Testing construction materials:
Perform tests and oversee special inspections of materials such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and others to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards. - Analyzing construction plans and specifications:
Verify that they align with project goals before conducting field observations. - Recording and managing field activities:
Document detailed observations and test results during project execution, using Metafield or other management systems daily for efficient data handling and coordination. - Preparing reports and proposals:
Help draft reports and proposals for smaller projects, ensuring thorough and accurate assessments and documentation. - Communicating daily:
Interact with management, contractors, and clients to maintain project transparency and provide regular updates on progress.

Qualifications:- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a similar technical field - Experience:
0‑2 years of experience in construction materials testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt - Certifications:
You are willing to obtain at least one (1) industry certification within 6 months of employment - Key Competencies
- Basic math and communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) using the English language
This role involves hands‑on work in outdoor environments, and with Company‑provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), you'll need to be comfortable with:
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Walking over rough, uneven terrain and standing (potentially up to 12 hours a day)
- Routinely lifting and carrying 40‑50lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment)
- Maneuvering field equipment safely, such as a loaded wheelbarrow, on uneven ground around active construction sites
- Working outside of normal business hours and traveling (typically out‑of‑town and/or overnight) as project needs arise
