• Inspect Transportation Construction Projects:
  Ensure all work and materials meet project plans, proposals, and specifications.
• Perform Key Measurements & Calculations:
  Verify weights, volumes, and measurements to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare “As‑Built” Documentation:
  Plot and run cross sections, and document project progress.
• Conduct Materials Testing:
  Ensure materials meet quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Daily Documentation:
  Record all inspection activities and findings in detailed reports.
• Work Outdoors:
  Enjoy the variety of working in different weather conditions and environments.
• Physical Responsibilities:
  Be prepared for heavy lifting and manual tasks as part of the inspection process.
• Travel Across the Region:
  Potentially visit construction sites in Horry, Georgetown, Florence, Marion, Darlington, Dillon, Williamsburg and Marlboro counties.
• Independent Work:
  Take ownership of your tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible Hours & Travel:
  Expect extended hours and occasional overnight stays as part of the role.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required. Required equipment and company vehicle provided during work hours.

The successful candidate will hold at least two applicable certifications, and one of the following:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• -OR
  - An Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field AND two (2) years of relevant experience.
• -OR
  - If no degree, at least four (4) years of relevant experience.
