At Acceleration Academies, we partner with school districts to support Graduation Candidates in earning their high school diploma through flexible scheduling, personalized learning, and a focus on outcomes. Our approach is designed to meet Graduation Candidates (Students) where they are and help them make meaningful progress toward graduation and long‑term success. Every student deserves the chance to walk across the stage and experience the pride, relief, and sense of accomplishment that comes with it.

We are committed to providing the support and partnership to help make that possible.

The Role

The Interventionist serves as a key member of the academy's Continuous Improvement Team and provides targeted academic, attendance, graduation‑readiness, college readiness, and career readiness interventions for Graduation Candidates (GCs) in grades 9-12. This position focuses on supporting Graduation Candidates who are off‑track academically, demonstrate gaps in foundational ELA and Math skills, require End‑of‑Course (EOC) preparation, need attendance and engagement support, or require additional intervention to remain on track toward graduation.

The Interventionist works closely with the Academic Support Coach, Content Coaches, Graduation Candidate Advocates (GCAs), School Counselor, Testing Coordinator, and academy leadership to identify barriers to success, implement individualized interventions, monitor progress, and improve student outcomes related to graduation, College and Career Readiness (CCR), attendance, and academic achievement.

This position is a temporary grant funded position, funded through July 2027. This is a full‑time, academy‑based position (CSI State funding) reporting to the Academy Director.
