SOS Care is a non‑profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities to live independently. We offer programs, activities, and resources to teach life and social skills essential for self‑sufficiency. The organization is also pioneering the development of Oak Tree Farm, an affordable housing community for those ready for independent living. We support families navigating the challenges of autism and intellectual disabilities by providing guidance, resources, and support.
Our mission is to ensure that individuals in South Carolina with such disabilities have the resources needed for independent living and to prevent homelessness.
This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst based in Myrtle Beach, SC, or at our Charleston Clinic location with the option for some work‑from‑home flexibility as well as telehealth options. The role involves conducting behavioral assessments, developing applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment plans, and monitoring client progress. The candidate will collaborate with caregivers, provide parent education sessions, and support behavior management strategies.
The position also involves supervising and training staff to ensure high‑quality implementation of behavior intervention plans.
- Strong knowledge in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Skills in Parent Education and Behavior Management
- Understanding of Psychology as it pertains to individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
