As a clinician at our OB hospitalist program, you’ll be in the hospital 24/7 to perform real‑time triage on every patient entering the labor and delivery unit or obstetric emergency department (OBED). Your presence will reduce delays in emergency OB/GYN care, improve outcomes, increase patient satisfaction and support community clinicians.
At Grand Strand Medical Center (GSMC), the birthing process is a priority. From childbirth preparation to discharge, the compassionate staff at GSMC are with new families every step of the way. GSMC has a variety of pain management options, spacious rooms, comprehensive high‑risk pregnancy services offered by Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and a Level II special‑care nursery. Grand St and Medical Center currently sees approximately 700 annual deliveries.
