We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Primary Care Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a valuable member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional care to our homebound patients. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses.

PTA role performs visits in homes, assisted living facilities, and independent living facilities. This is a salary‑based position, with the opportunity to receive a monthly bonus. This is a full‑time, salary‑based position.

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans and conduct therapeutic exercises with patients.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation exercises.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and instruct patients in performing therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment, ensuring that equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
• Communicate regularly with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Assist in the implementation of discharge plans, including providing patients with instructions for continued care and recommending appropriate follow‑up services.

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities.
• Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest.

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Specialized training or certification in specific areas of physical therapy, such as orthopedics, pelvic health, neurology, or geriatrics.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language commonly spoken by patients in the practice area.
