Main Responsibilities
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate all efforts of the front desk, reservations, night audit, and bell/valet.
  • Supervise the delivery of efficient check‑in and check‑out services and coordinate front office activities with other departments to ensure all standards are met and excellent customer service is provided.
  • Lead and mentor the growth of the team.
  • Oversee and resolve problems arising from owner/guest concerns, reporting unresolved issues to the General Manager.
  • Manage and account for the accurate collection of monies due to the property.
  • Direct night audit activity and prepare weekly accounting reports to ensure operations meet internal audit standards.
  • Provide special services to owners and guests.
  • Handle team member functions such as selection, orientation, training, performance reviews, discipline, counseling, scheduling, pay, and recognition.
  • Maintain a positive collaborative work environment between staff and management.
  • Ensure team members fully understand performance standards, uniform, and appearance standards.
  • Monitor payroll hours and reports.
  • Attend management meetings and conduct departmental meetings.
  • Inspect department to ensure equipment is in proper working condition and supplies are stocked; serve as liaison with the rental and sales departments.
  • Assist with owner and guest activities and recreation as needed.
  • May be required to perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of Hotel or Resort related experience required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Ability to lead each field of the department independently.
  • Demonstrated excellence in service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction, responding to guests in a timely and professional manner.
